How can I activate Windows installed from media provided by ITSC?

There are 2 ways to activate Windows that is installed from source provided by ITSC:
  1. Key Management Server (KMS)
    • Recommended for desktop PC connects to the campus network, especially PC in computing labs
    • To activate, connect the PC to the campus network and Windows will be activated automatically. However, ResNet is not covered.
    • Windows activated in this way will be deactivated if not connected to the campus network for over 180 days. It will be re-activated once connected back to the campus network.
  2. Multi-Activation Key (MAK)
    • Recommended for laptop or PC in network not covered by KMS.
    • To activate, check out the MAK activation page (logon required)
