Can I upgrade my system to Windows 7 without re-installation?

Windows 7 only support upgrade from Windows Vista SP1 or above. The following scenerios are NOT supported,
  • Upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7.
  • Upgrade to different core language, i.e. you can't upgrade from Chinese Windows Vista to English Windows 7.
  • Upgrade from 32-bit version to 64-bit version or vice versa.

In addition, according to Microsoft, most systems will boot faster on a new Windows 7 installation than one upgraded from Vista.
