Exchange Email: How to configure Thunderbird’s folder settings with "Sent Items" and "Deleted Items"?

  1. Launch Thunderbird.
  2. Select Subscribe... under the File menu.
  3. Select Deleted Items, Sent Items andthen click OK.
  4. Select Account Settings... under the Tools menu.
  5. Click Server Settings under your account in the left pane. For the option "When I delete a message, move it to this folder", select Deleted Items.

  6. Click Copies & Folders. For the option "When sending messages, automatically place a copy in",select Sent Items.

  7. Click OK to save your settings.
