I cannot connect to IEEE 802.11a/n network. Why?

This may be due to a number of reasons.

  • The mobile device does not support IEEE 802.11a or IEEE 802.11n.
  • The wireless network card may be faulty or its driver outdated.
  • Due to the nature of 5GHz radio signal used by IEEE 802.11a, the signal penetration capability is lower as compared to IEEE 802.11b/g. As a result, some users may not receive a good IEEE 802.11a signal if their residential rooms are not sufficiently close to the access point.

If the user still has connection speed problem, please visit our helpdesk or email to cchelp for assistance.
