Do I still need my own wireless broadband router installed here at hall?

In some cases, you may still need your own wireless broadband router installed here at hall. The following are some examples:

  • If you have a non-WPA capable device, like very old PDA and mobile phone, NDSL
  • If you do not wish to buy a wireless-less mini-switch to connect to more than one machine, you may like to disable the wireless network on your wireless broadband router and use it as a mini-switch
  • If you have a 802.11a capable broadband router, and is technically capable of determining which channel is not interfering with ITSC access points
