How to join Windows notebooks to HKUST domain?

Currently there is no support for joining Windows notebooks to the HKUST domain. Windows notebooks on eduroam should be configured as standalone workstation on a workgroup. The advantage of joining the HKUST domain is to get authenticated in order to access network resources, like network servers and print queues. There is a workaround to get connected to network print queues without joining the domain. Please refer to How to print to a printer at computer barn.
