Satellite Printer - Windows XP Setup Instruction

Make sure you are connected to campus network.

Click "Start" , and then click "Control Panel" .

Click "User Accounts" , and then click "Manage Passwords" under the "Advanced" tab.

Click "Add" at the "Stored User Names and Passwords" dialog.

Enter "ccms42.ust.hk" at the "Server:" field.
Enter your ITSC network account name and password into the appropriate text box and then click "OK" .
Please note that the ITSC network account name must be prepended by "hkust\" , eg. hkust\cc_test

A new entry "ccms42.ust.hk" is added.

Repeat step 3 to step 5, but entering "ccms62.ust.hk" at the "Server:" field.

Another new entry "ccms62.ust.hk" is added.

Click "Start" , and "Run" and then type the corresponding Print Queue in the box, eg. \\ccms62.ust.hk\coffeeshop_black , and then press "ENTER".

Please do not set this printer as default printer because it may slow down Microsoft Office product when you are not connecting to campus network.
