Satellite Printer - Windows Vista Setup Instruction

Make sure you are connected to campus network.

Click "Start" , and then click "Control Panel" .

Click "User Accounts" , and then click "Manage my network passwords" at the left Tasks list.

Click "Add" at the "Stored User Names and Passwords" dialog.

Enter "ccms42.ust.hk" at the "Log on to:" field and then check "A Web site or program credential" option at the bottom.
Enter your ITSC network account name and password into the appropriate text box and then click "OK" .
Please note that the ITSC network account name must be prepended by "hkust\" , eg. hkust\cc_test

A new entry "ccms42.ust.hk" is added.

Repeat step 3 to step 5, but entering "ccms62.ust.hk" at the "Log on to:" field.

Another new entry "ccms62.ust.hk" is added.

Click "Start" , type the corresponding Print Queue in the box, eg. \\ccms62.ust.hk\coffeeshop_black , and then press "ENTER".

Please do not set this printer as default printer because it may slow down Microsoft Office product when you are not connecting to campus network.
