Q1. Will project accounts migrate to Exchange Online?

Within 2019, staff accounts and project accounts with shared calendars (requested by departments) will be migrated to Exchange Online (so that staff users can access to the shared calendar after migrated to Exchange Online). Project account required to have email service can also be migrated to Exchange Online per department's request.

After all staff users migrated to Exchange Online, ITSC will liaise with project account owners to see if email service can be disabled for their project accounts. We can perform the required Exchange Online migration for project accounts if it is necessary.

Q2. Cannot access to shared calendars after migrated to Exchange Online.

In case you cannot access to a shared calendar after migrated to Exchange Online, please contact the calendar owner to share the calendar again.

Q3. Cannot access to the page Set up Email Forwarding.

You can setup email forwarding using Outlook on the web. Please remember to remove the forwarding rule if you have setup email forwarding in the past.

Q4. Cannot access to the page Spam Detection Settings.
Exchange Online already equipped with anti-spam protection and there is no need take care about the previous Spam Detection Settings. Message detected with certain spam rating will continue moved to the Junk E-Mail folder using the email rule "Move Spam to Junk E-mail" based on our spam detection engine. However, ITSC will evaluate if the current spam detection engine will be decommissioned in the future. Please refer to Learn about junk email and phishing for more information.
