Wireless ResNet: Why can’t I use the Wireless ResNet service?

This may be due to a number of reasons.

  • Incorrect ITSC account name or password was entered.
  • The computing device does not support WPA / WPA2 or its configuration is incorrect.
  • The Trusted Root Certification Authorities was not properly configured.
  • Static IP address or other networking parameter was configured on the computing device.
  • Interference from adjacent rogue access points. These access points may be set up by other hall residents nearby.

You may refer to the ITSC Knowledge Base on eduroam for details.
