Which one should I use, Wired ResNet or Wireless ResNet?

Wired ResNet is most suitable when:

  • user is running applications which demand high bandwidth.
  • the computing device is not mobile, i.e it always connects to the same wall outlet.

Wireless ResNet is most suitable when:

  • there is no network port on user's computing device, e.g. phone, tablet.
  • user requires immediate network access with short duration, e.g. check emails, read news.
  • user is not running applications which demand high bandwidth.
  • user is present in common rooms or other places without Wired ResNet.
