How long will backups be kept for?

Backup will be kept for 30 days. For example, backup created on 1 Aug or earlier will no longer be available on 31 Aug onward.

The only exception is the most recent backup which will be kept forever unless the backup account or the backup device is removed. This is to prevent all the backups are deleted if a desktop or laptop is not connected to the backup server for a prolonged period.
