This page provides sample instructions for HKUST Staff & Students in setting up Android (e.g. smartphones, tablets) to connect to Y5ZONE Wi-Fi Service. This is a general guideline as different brands may have widely different network configuration steps and from past experience may change from generation to generation. In general, we recommend upgrading to the latest Android OS version to get the smoothest surfing experience, please check your device's documentation on obtaining / installing updated software. Users are recommended to use the Wi-Fi Services Advisor if they are not sure which Wi-Fi service should be used. Configure and Access eduroamStep 1: Bring up Wireless Network Connection Menu
