When setting the SMTP server at user's Gmail account with user's @Connect email address, the following error is encountered: Your other email provider is responding too slowly. Please try again later, or contact the administrator of your other domain for further information. Since there are incompatibilities between Gmail and Office 365's SMTP server, users are advised to use the Outlook Web Access to send message or use other email clients for SMTP connection. Having said that, some @Connect users found the following smtp sever setting works for his Gmail account but there is no guarantee as it is not the recommended setting from Microsoft. Server: outlook-apaccentral.office365.com |
