Setting up Apple iOS Device to Access CSL Wi-Fi Service

This page provides sample instructions for HKUST Staff & Students to set up Apple iOS devices to connect to CSL Wi-Fi Service.

Users are recommended to use the Wi-Fi Services Advisor if they are not sure which Wi-Fi service should be used.

Configure and Access CSL Wi-Fi Service

Step 1: Bring Up Wireless Network Connection Menu

1. Select Settings  Wi-Fi in the home screen

2. Change the option of Wi-Fi to ON

3. Select Universities via CSL
   

   

Step 2: Enter User Name and Password

1. Enter your ITSC Network Account " @ust.hk " in Username field

2. Enter your ITSC Network Account Password in Password field

3. Click Join

    

Step 3: Verify Certificate

1. Make sure Thawte RSA CA 2018 and wireless.ust.hk are shown

2. Click Trust

   

Congratulations! You have connected to CSL Wi-Fi Service!
