F-Secure reports that my computer is not protected due to virus definitions are very old.

If the computer hasn't been turned on for several days, it may take up to 30 mins for the virus definitions to update.

In case F-Secure still indicates that the virus definitions are very old, please try the followings until the problem is resolved,

1. Click the F-Secure icon to start the launch pad. Select Check for updates.
2. Make sure the system has more than 1 Gb of disk space.
3. Check that the Windows date and time are correct.
4. Download and save fsaua-reset.exe. Run the program. When the command window opens, press Y. The program will close by itself. Wait 30 mins to see if virus definition updates.
5. Uninstall and then re-install F-Secure product.
