Is it safe to use my ITSC account to logon Y5ZONE hotspots? |

As Y5ZONE hotspots are owned by commercial company, HKUST members may have concerns to type in their ITSC account and password during logon. The ITSC account and password are encrypted by IEEE 802.1X and SSL all the way between the mobile device and HKUST Radius server. This helps to rule out the chances of capturing the ITSC account and password at Y5ZONE hotspots or other Y5ZONE equipment. |
